Old Craft Marketing · Questions
Asked often, answered plainly.
01What does Old Craft Marketing make?+
Physical marketing. Photography and video; print and mail — business cards, brochures, flyers, sell sheets and one-pagers, postcards and direct mail, door hangers, menus, presentation folders, booklets and catalogs, stickers and labels, packaging, and print ads; and logo and graphic design. If it comes off a press, we can make it. Three trades, one contact.
02Who actually does the work?+
Real Connecticut craftspeople — photographers, printers, and designers working in real shops. Miles lines them up, manages the job, and checks the work. You only ever deal with Miles.
03Why not just order this online?+
Online ordering is upload, pick a box, and hope. Here, a person who knows your business takes responsibility for the result. Every proof gets a human look before it leaves the shop.
04How does a job start?+
One call or text to Miles at 203-273-3489, or a note through the contact form. Tell him what you need. He puts the right makers on it and keeps you posted until it's in your hands.
05Can I order just one thing?+
Yes. One shoot, one logo. Most people start with one job.
06How much does it cost?+
Every job is different, so there are no posted prices. After the first call, Miles quotes the whole job up front, in plain terms, before any work starts. No surprises later.
07How long does it take?+
It depends on the job. A shoot is scheduled around your business, print runs take days, not weeks, and design work moves at the speed of the proofs. Miles gives you a straight timeline on the first call.
08Do I get to see a proof first?+
Yes. Every proof and every piece gets checked twice before it goes out, and design and print proofs come to you for a look first.
09What towns do you serve?+
Wallingford, Cheshire, North Haven, Hamden, and Southington. And the makers are all right here in Connecticut.
10What do you need from me to start?+
Just the call. If you have a logo, photos, or wording you like, bring them. If not, that's part of the job.
11Do you make websites or run online ads?+
No. That's our sister company, QuickFlip Digital. Old Craft only makes physical marketing.
12Do you make signs or vehicle decals?+
Not right now. We stick to photography and video, print and mail, and design. We'd rather say no than do a job halfway.
